About Me
To find me on Facebook and other social networks, look HERE! To see my resume and portfolio, look HERE!
Hello. My name is Adam Lazarus and I am a full-time student at The University of Tampa. I am expecting to graduate in May 2011 with a degree in Management Information Systems. You can see my must up-to-date resume HERE.
I have had a passion for all things ‘tech’ for almost as long as I can remember. I’ve got a well-rounded set of experiences that I think make me a great addition to any productive team.
Year-round as I attend college I freelance as an Internet and Technology Consultant. I have consulted with an extremely wide range of clients, big, small, and tall. Some work I have done includes consulting with Facebook, Microsoft, The International Rescue Committee, etc. I like to focus on integrating the latest cutting-edge technologies into every day business in order to improve the bottom line. I always find myself thinking, “That could be done so much better”.
Aside from technology, I love everything that has to do with having fun and relaxing in/on/around/under the water as well as a newly rekindled obsession with food. Scuba Diving and Sailing are definitely at the top of my FUN list! I’ve been sailing forever; raced as a kid and then coached sailing as a teenager to a great group of kids for a few years at a country club in my home town of Rowayton, CT. Scuba Diving’s one of those things that I really regret not being able to do as much as I want to anymore- I used to dive all the time; I’ve got over 500 dives logged and I am a PADI certified Dive Master – If you want to go diving, count me in!
Cooking is what I do these days to keep myself busy when I don’t feel like doing anything else. I’ve been getting into the science of cooking and have been obsessed with the Sous Vide technique. I’m sure there’ll be some posts on this site discussing some of that fun stuff.
Anyways, thanks for looking around on my site–
